An informal survey of Rauland-Borg Telecenter VoIP System K-12 school and school district customers indicates that flexibility and cost savings associated with network technology and structured cabling have lowered installation and expansion costs.

This survey highlighted the effects of structured data cabling architectures on the costs and installation of school communications systems.

Many facilities will not install proprietary cabling just to accommodate these older systems." All these issues are addressed by Telecenter VoIP which literally rides the light; providing communications (telephone, intercom, paging, and tones) over Ethernet on fiber and Cat 5/5e/6 structured cabling.
