This new service line will provide building owners and developers, along with the many other individuals involved in a building design’s decision making processs, with a realistic 3D view of building projects that have yet to be constructed.
The industry reaction to Envision has been exceptional. Upon officially informing clientele of the Envision service line, RCMS Group experienced an increased momentum of sales in the rendering division. The spike in sales is attributed to the belief that the concept of Envision is not a hard sell to upper level executives, who realize the effectiveness of implementing an improved process for making critical decisions about their projects.
The premise behind the Envision service line stems from the notion that everyone can look at a picture and understand what it is they are looking at. On the contrary, there are very few individuals who can look at a set of construction documents or 2D building plans and know exactly what the lines on the paper will look like once constructed. RCMS Group decided to use its existing serivce line – producing realistic renderings, virtual walkthroughs and animations of buildings – and expand it to meet the needs of current clientele who can utilize these services much earlier in the buidling lifecycle to make important design decisions. Now clients of RCMS can use their visualizations for more than just sales and marketing activity to make better informed decisions about their building design. This in turn can help to reduce the overall cost of a project by decreasing the amount of design errors and expediting an otherwise time consuming process.
