SEATTLE, WA – APRIL 20, 2006 Family Review Center announced today that PortaSmart has been awarded the PLATINUM AWARD, for their product ‘The Puzzle Set’. This award was issued to PortaSmart on the basis of a 5UP (perfect) Review, and by the panel of judges determining out of all the products reviewed, The Puzzle Set stood out as one that deserved great admiration, for its distinct design, appeal, and purpose.
The Puzzle Set is a table and chair set for children ages 2-6. Unlike any table and chair set we have previously seen, this one amazed us! Children not only enjoy sitting in the chair, and using the table as a great place to work or play; they also love BUILDING this furniture! This is the fun and unique twist to The Puzzle Set. Dad will no longer have to assemble and reassemble endlessly, as the children will race to be able to do it themselves.
The table and chair consist of large, brightly colored geometric shapes. These are the basic shapes of circles, triangles and squares, using the primary colors red, yellow and blue. The pieces interlock together, to form not only the pieces to the set, but a large-scale puzzle!
This set serves as a dual activity set, since they can build it and use it when it is complete. The Puzzle Set is perfect for indoor or outdoor use. It is also perfect when there is not much space, in an apartment or at grandmas house. Once the children have finished playing with it, one can simply tear it down and place the pieces in the handy storage tote included with the set, and place it in the closet until it is needed next time. We found this to be a very high quality, rugged, and built to last set; that will be loved and used for years to come.
