New Stone Texture Egress Window Wells by RockWell LLC Provide Basement Beauty and Safety

(PRWEB) March 29, 2009 -- RockWell LLC has developed a new line of egress window wells that look and feel like real stone, adding beauty to any basement window design. These stone-like window wells allow basements to have more light and livability. In addition, due to the unique production process, the window wells also provide a safety step for easy escape from basements during emergencies. Available in desert sand or lime stone grey, RockWell egress window wells featuring True TextureTM provide an attractive alternative to metal window wells.

“  Aesthetics and ease of installation are the major factors.
Unlike their metal counterparts, RockWell window wells are made from a durable rigid composite creating a design that is rust and rot free and resistant to UV and extreme temperatures. The one-piece, lightweight composite construction also allows for ease of installation and mounting to basement foundations with pea gravel not required for backfill. "A fiberglass window well costs only a few hundred dollars more than a steel one, but it's not just the low price that's creating the demand," Vaughn Cook, president and founder of Rockwell comments. "Aesthetics and ease of installation are the major factors."

In addition to the different colors offered, RockWell window wells are available in a one- step or multi-step design and in multiple sizes. All window wells are 66" wide with a projection for 39", and come in 12" increment heights between 24" and 96", providing alternatives for many basement windows.
