RNL hosts "Green Week" to help educate employees and clients and promote sustainable design practices.

PRWEB) February 9, 2007 -- RNL Design is proud to announce that 62 of its employees have received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council. This number represents more than 50% of the firm's total design staff, including architects, interior designers, landscape architects and engineers. RNL has made a commitment to apply sustainable design practices to each and every one of its projects, and continues to encourage its staff to learn about sustainable design, most recently by hosting its first-ever "Green Week" in late January. The event was a weeklong series of presentations, movies, building tours and roundtable discussions, all focused on green design and construction. Buildings are estimated to account for 35% or more of U.S. energy demands, according to the USGBC.
