Loft Appeal - Urban Style for Urban Places

(PRWEB) April 14, 2006 -- Lights, Camera, Action! What appears to be a movie set at first glance is in fact, the brightest new star on the Downtown Los Angeles redevelopment landscape. Loft Appeal was the first new home furnishings store downtown in decades, and offers up a fun, exciting, and unique mix of decorative furnishings.

“  You need to be established and ready as the new residents move in
Now that the trend to live downtown is in full swing, with thousands of residential units near completion, one business is ahead of the curve.
Loft Appeal is located at 903 S. Hill St, at the corner of 9th and Hill, conveniently located between the jewelry district and the fashion district. The owners, Rich Reams & Ron Senger started planning over three years ago for the influx of new residents. Loft Appeal is owned and operated by Rich Reams & Ron Senger, who had the vision to see the need for home furnishings opening before Downtown LA hit critical mass, "You need to be established and ready as the new residents move in", says owner Reams.

The store, now open for over 1 1/2 years, offers up an eclectic mix of retro and new contemporary furnishings mixed with fun and unique movie props. You might find a large cylindrical phone booth used by Tom Hanks in "The Terminal", or a robot from a Robin Williams movie. There are jukeboxes and large neon signs from various movies and television shows. Vignettes are decorated with samplings of everything from contemporary to African, Moroccan, and Hawaiian motifs. Whether you are looking for a sofa and chair, or bedroom furniture, or accessories such as lamps, rugs, paintings, this is the place.

Loft Appeal also offers thousands of other items through their vast catalogue department, so be sure to ask if you don’t see it.
Rich Reams has been a Set Decorator for movies and television for over 30 years, and Ron Senger is an engineer for the City of Los Angeles. They have combined their creative forces to create a most unique shop offering different styles for different tastes. Their staff is focused on customer service and making shopping a fun experience. On top of all the fun, there are lots of bargains to be found. Every week different items go on sale with savings up to 40% off, so you can always find a deal here. And, speaking of deals, don’t miss the “Bargain Basement” every Saturday & Sunday, where thousands of items are marked 50-75% off! Because they liquidate for 3 of the major studios, the “Bargain Basement” is always changing. Loft Appeal is a super place for the shopper on a budget to decorate their place.

Loft Appeal caters to the downtown loft scene, but you can find furnishings for traditional homes or apartments as well. With 14,000 square feet, you will find very unique furnishings such as wall beds that disappear into the wall, and furniture that helps solve your storage problems.

Loft Appeal has been featured on the KTLA Morning News, as well as several cable shows, and even a loft decorating show. You may have seen their models at the Pacific Electric Building , The Flat, or The Packard Loft. Loft Appeal has also done contract design jobs for Developer Tom Gilmore, and the LA Conservancy. Come see what everyone is talking about.
