A large access door in the rear offers more security than the official US postal service mailboxes. The mailbox’ traditional design made from solid sand-cast aluminum, can be customized to every specification. The rear door comes in two versions: with a lock or a simple turning knob. Other wishes can be satisfied: for example, one client asked for the mailbox to add an additional compartment and door for UPS/ FedEx packages. Another customer wanted to add the typical mailbox flag at the top. For one customer, Dahlhaus even integrated a remote speaker and door opening mechanism into the mailbox!
