How strong are your passwords?
The latest v3.0 Password Manager delivers all the capabilities of the corproate/government version at a fraction of the price. It creates and manages strong encrpted passwords in a handy secure keychain device. The Token is delivered with the Policy master CD, which allows you to individually compose requirements of any login standard, and the Autoload Cradle. Included with the Policy Master configuration software is a Quick Start and Tutorial Manual. Standards defined in the policy master configuration software are used to pre-load the token, which can store up to 50 passwords. The token generates strong encrypted passwords, up to 14 characters long, and the expiration date is programmed into the unit to force you to change passwords at the required (or user-specified) time intervals. Storage slots can also be used for static passwords, safe combinations, bank account access numbers, and email accounts. Passwords and data are securely stored, with numerous protective measures on the key chain token, which only the individual can access. The Individual Autoload Version makes industrial strength password security available and affordable to consumers.
The keychain Token is the similar to the one originally developed by Mandylion Labs LLC under a Department of Defense funding program to provide military personnel strong encrypted passwords stored securely in a field grade device. In 2001a commercial version was released which required the user to key-in User ID, and password Logon requirements for each system. The initial public version did not appeal to corporations and govenment agencies where adherance to secuirty policies for passwords was always hard to enforce. Therefore, in 2005 v2.0 Passwork Manager was enhanced to facilitate wide acceptance by providing the ability to autoload the secure tokens on a cradle. Policy Master software on your PC allows system names, User IDs, and password Logon requirements to be pre-defined; and then down loaded to the token. Password Manager v2.0 gained wide acceptance by large orgaizations as a password security policy compliance, and management tool to meet regulatory reqirements. Regulations now mandate reporting on controls that safeguard the enterprise's computing systems such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ( PCI), Gramm Leach Bliley, HIPAA, FACTA, FISMA, and the initial line of defense always required the password.
