(PRWEB) November 8, 2005 -- The Constitution Party of North Carolina will be holding its Annual State Convention this year in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Knights of Columbus Hall off of New Hope Road. The event will take place on November 19th from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. There are currently four speakers scheduled to speak; Chris Campbell - State Chairman, Michael Frisbee – Regional Director & Public Relations, Jim Capo – NC/SC State Coordinator for the Jim Birch Society, and Robert Cressionne – Host of “America In Danger”.

The Constitution Party of North Carolina holds an annual state convention as outlined in its state constitution. The convention allows the leadership to gather members and associates together to learn what has been done in the party for the past year, what is being planned for the next year, elect officers for the state executive council, and offer members a chance to voice their concerns and ideas to the leadership on a one-to-one basis. It also allows members and associates to bring their friends and family that want to learn more about the party. There is a minimal $5.00 per person charge to offset the cost of the facility.
Chris Campbell, the party’s State Chairman, will be addressing members and associates regarding the efforts and events that have taken place during the last year within the party.
Michael Frisbee, the party’s Western Triad Regional Director and Public Relations Officer, will be addressing members and associates about the coming year. Presented will be four objectives and methods for achieving them, in order to grow the party and successfully gain ballot access by 2008. Mr. Frisbee is the party’s first member to seek public office, the Ward 1 city council seat in Thomasville, NC. Though unsuccessful in the race, he was able to garner press coverage for the party and himself, and promises to make a very special announcement at the convention regarding his next step in North Carolina politics.
Jim Capo, the NC/SC State Coordinator for the Jim Birch Society, will be addressing members and associates regarding the pressing issues in the news today and how they relate to the Constitution. So many Americans have no true understanding of the Constitution, and much of today’s topics can be related to and answered by it. Yet, politicians and judges have for the most part ignored it.
Robert Cressionne, the Host of “America In Danger”, will be addressing members and associates regarding the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) and the very REAL danger it poses this country in relation to loss of jobs, freedoms, and our national sovereignty. Mr. Clinton started the spiral with NAFTA, Mr. Bush and Congress pushed as closer to the precipice with CAFTA, and now they are trying to push America over the edge with passage of the FTAA.

Constitution Party of North Carolina
In the 2000 elections, the Constitution Party achieved presidential ballot access in 41 states and qualified write-in candidate status in 7 others. This made for a total of 48 states where people were able to cast their votes for Constitution Party candidates. In addition, the party fielded over 100 candidates nationwide for offices ranging from the federal to the local levels of government.

Michael Frisbee is a 39 year old former Information technology professional of eighteen years. He now works in the travel industry while maintaining an internet consulting practice on the side.
