(PRWEB) March 8, 2006 -- AuctorVerno, LLC has been selected by Lewis Street Partners to be the green building consultant for their redevelopment project at 30 Lewis Street. This four story building, situated in the historic downtown district will set a new standard in redevelopment projects in the Hartford market.

Ney comments, “This is a great project. The character of the building and its charm are overwhelming. These and other features play an important role in the greening of the building.”
The building was built in 1920 and was known as the University Club of Hartford. It was a gentleman's club equipped with bar, meeting rooms, eating areas and overnight guest rooms. Today, the building is part of the rebirth of Lewis Street and will be one of the first existing buildings in the downtown area to be rehabbed green. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
