AuctorVerno Selected by Lewis Street Partners as Green Building Consultant

(PRWEB) March 8, 2006 -- AuctorVerno, LLC has been selected by Lewis Street Partners to be the green building consultant for their redevelopment project at 30 Lewis Street. This four story building, situated in the historic downtown district will set a new standard in redevelopment projects in the Hartford market.

Cloud continues, “Our goal is to learn and apply knowledge that Adam’s team brings to the table. We will be incorporating numerous principles related to sustainable design and believe that it’s in the best interest of our tenants, their workers, and the community at large.”

AuctorVerno is assisting Lewis Street Partners with certain design aspects and also helping with marketing. AuctorVerno’s Web site, buildingctgreen.com, will diary the building’s progress. Ney comments, “This is a great project. The character of the building and its charm are overwhelming. These and other features play an important role in the greening of the building.”

The building was built in 1920 and was known as the University Club of Hartford. It was a gentleman's club equipped with bar, meeting rooms, eating areas and overnight guest rooms. Today, the building is part of the rebirth of Lewis Street and will be one of the first existing buildings in the downtown area to be rehabbed green. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
